'I was working for free': Contractor paints a curse word on his friend's wall in paint primer, outraged spouse demands an apology

When you're with your friends, someone is bound to play a practical joke or poke fun at one of the group members. It's just how it works. But what if the friend's spouse isn't on board and takes a joke to heart? And then, even worse, your friend takes their spouse's side. Ouch. That's what happened to this OP.

First of all, he's helping a friend out with his new house for free. When he was painting a room, his friend's entitled wife let her dogs run in the room, only for them to get paint everywhere. As a petty joke, the OP painted the f-word in paint primer on the wall. The thing is, it was only primer. He literally painted over it before he left that day. But that didn't stop the wife from demanding an apology. Her big threat? He can't come back until he apologizes. Remember, he was doing this work for free on his days off. The OP doesn't think this warrants an apology, but his friend group thinks otherwise. Whose side are you on?
